Several GR trails cross the territory of Waimes:
- the SGR 573 Vesdre Hautes-Fagnes, with the ascent of the river Helle (Eupen) to the Baraque Michel, which continues along the Hoëgne towards Polleur
- the GR 56 Montjoie/Monschau - Botrange - Malmedy, completed by the "Warche-Tour" (link between the Robertville and Butgenbach dams)
- The Amblève by the GR: route along the river, from its source to its confluence with the Ourthe, with the Warche loop (74 km)
