Adjacent to Waimes, this small village, crossed by the Ravel "Vennbahn" leading to St Vith, gave its name to the stream that runs towards Ondenval, before flowing into the Amblève. On the heights, quartz sandstone is extracted from the "Bouhaye" quarry, where it is either crushed or cut as rubble for construction.
